Wherever possible prevention is always better than cure. This is what good nutrition should achieve. The ancient traditions of Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic medicine are the sciences of life and longevity so food is seen as a natural part of this. These therapies have stood the test of time and have their own understanding and appreciation of the benefits of a good diet. More and more of us are using them to support, enhance or as alternatives to conventional medicine, so why not use their approach to diet as well. Nutritional science is still struggling to keep up with this breadth of knowledge and essential focus on prevention.
Whilst it is true the modern world has created new stresses that cause their own nutritional problems, with some self awareness and often just a few subtle dietary changes the body can get back to balance. My goal is to help enhance your awareness of your individual needs and gently guide you towards more positive dietary habits which are specific for you and you alone. I haven't given up my favourite foods and neither should you.
